Favoriting October 7, 2023: By the time alto saxophonist Bobby Zankel moved to Philadelphia in 1975 he had already been part of free-jazz innovator Cecil Taylor’s “Unit Core Ensemble,” and had earned accolades from Jazz Times and Downbeat magazines.

Hey NGH, I thought of you today because there was a food drive at the supermarket, and the volunteers (preppy types) were not even willing to give me the leaflet with what they "needed".
