I know that this particular Key Food also has at least two Basement Cats; another calico and a black cat that live in the downstairs loading area. The loading staff are VERY protective of those cats. Inside the store, if they have the internal loading doors open, you sometimes see eyes glowing out at you. Outside, when they are loading the really heavy stuff down the roller slide, the two cats will come out and sit at the top of the palettes until the giant slidy things are done going down.

Worked like a charm; predator poop scared it away.

We call it Cat Goose Beach.

One was a long time stray who just started following her whenever she walked her beagle and eventually realized that she was OK. My friend knew the house, and brought the cat back, and the guy was like "oh they just let her go. You can have her." She was immediately adopted on the spot and was so, so happy to be back in a house after a week of wandering around during the winter.

I know that this particular Key Food also has at least two Basement Cats; another calico and a black cat that live in the downstairs loading area. The loading staff are VERY protective of those cats. Inside the store, if they have the internal loading doors open, you sometimes see eyes glowing out at you. Outside, when they are loading the really heavy stuff down the roller slide, the two cats will come out and sit at the top of the palettes until the giant slidy things are done going down.

We call it Cat Goose Beach.

One was a long time stray who just started following her whenever she walked her beagle and eventually realized that she was OK. My friend knew the house, and brought the cat back, and the guy was like "oh they just let her go. You can have her." She was immediately adopted on the spot and was so, so happy to be back in a house after a week of wandering around during the winter.
