Favoriting October 7, 2023: Pianos
There are 88 keys on the piano. I will make no promises but this week on The Inflatable Squirrel Carcass you stand a very good chance of hearing each of them at least once during the show. From grand to toy, prepared to player, solo to symphony, we will experience three hours of Bartolomeo Cristofori’s invention in a range of styles.

Oh My! This is one of my all time favorite Copp & Brown trax! = haunting. I have ALL of their albums (9 total?!) in each of the formats of Lp’s, Cassettes, & CD’s. Imo, all worthy listening experiences. Yet the best ones are the earliest(e.g.#1-5). Thank you so very much for including that! Ps: I got to speak to an elderly Jim Copp before he died (over the phone). He was entertainingly cantankerous about the flood of orders coming in for his albums, since a recently published article in the Atlantic magazine by David Garland? had so many boomers re-connecting with the newly discovered availability. Worth it. Still available.
