But it's rare.
It's actually been quite a while, I think. Should get more common as the list shrinks, at least if math still works the way Charles in Chicago says it does.

Interestingly, this was 10 years ago-I kept mountain biking anyway, but now I'm getting a bit more hesitant (my old partner, who used to encourage me, seems to also have stopped or curtailed his mountain biking).

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
I always think of going to see a Concert of Traditional Chinese Music (when I lived in SoCal - & such opportunities were available to me...) - & the Player was intro'd as being of some distinction. Much expectation ...& out comes the Pipa : a not large flat pear-shaped piece of wood with a short neck, few frets or strings. So ...what can come out of that thing ?? Of course - the Musician proceeds to blow my mind with a stirring centuries old composition about a battle - replete with impressionistic cannon & such sounds - as if it were Hendrix with effects pedals & a wall of Marshalls... Much the same re the expressive power of the Erhu - the 'Chinese violin' that is not much more than a gourd body with a stick for a neck & two strings...

'There is a long history of the connection between the Turkish people and the Uyghurs. Both groups speak a Turkic language and the two groups share significant ethnic and cultural bonds. With Turkey being a Turkic country, the Uyghurs have been largely able to integrate within Turkish society.'
