Larry, the Take me for A little while 45 was actually B side of first 67 Keep me hangin on 45. Then when it caught fire in 68, they took Awhile off B side and issued it as an A side as followup. The weird thing is Atco also made a promo EP with Hangin on as 1 of 4 songs and the othewr 3 were BEATLES covers.

I have the EP--very odd piece. One long song VFudge did had this long history stuff in it like Kennedy speech etc. Cant remember what title was, but WKYC Cleveland played the whole thing on air in 68.

I remember the point when I was a kid and I discovered how different the Moody Blues' albums were than the singles. That they had all this "connective tissue' between songs. Great to listen to.

"Days of Future Passed" gets more notoriety, but I think I always liked this LP a bit more because it's "purer" Moody Blues in the main. Plus, if I ever had an English butler, I always wanted him to look like Ray Thomas.

Not a lot of bands come along that can write and play (live!) semi-symphonic pieces of their own making...all that Ray Thomas flute writing, it's like Camille Saint-Saens or something....Elgar....it's fucking amazing...like nothing else on the radio...Tuesday Afternoon was one of the highlights of my childhood
