I was able to back away slowly without getting mauled. I haven't heard of any issues with Whippets. Re: Greyhounds. My Dad took me to the local dog (greyhound) track in Yorskshire when I was young. He placed bets for me! Fortunately no gambling problems ensued. "White City" by The Pogues is about a greyhound racing track in London - a good song
