Yes! There is a local org ran by these lovely ladies who purchased a duplex 3yrs ago to assist people with long term recovery. Whole house to myself which means I can BLAST SWS!

I assume it's some kind of support group? A really cool thing a lot of MMA gyms do are free female self-defense classes. Worth checking out in your area in case anyone is interested. Most local fighters will do personal classes for free too.

Another plus is that you can be a buffer between the survivor and the cops, cuz we all know how they can be. First cop who responded to the house when the explosion happened was a DICK. Almost went off on her before an officer who was a fellow minority intervened and de-escalated it
