You transfer LPs to FLAC? I have a portable digital recorder that can do this, and I've done maybe 2-3 albums, but it's such a pain, takes hours to set levels, record, then break into tracks and tag, could never digitize my collection (there must be a better way...)

i transfer my vinyl to flac quite indirectly. i burn a cd with a "real time" cd burner, then upload it to a laptop. because it's a crackbook, and apple/itunes is shit and won't upload to a flac file i then have to convert the wave files to flac. the one good thing is about 80% of the time -if i burn the whole album and nothing but the album, itunes will fetch the album info and fill in song titles.
