Totally understandable! Hope you heal up fast. My case manager may have found an avenue with the Colorado ID project. They're the ones who provide vouchers to shelters for those who can't pay the DMV service fee. They also have lawyers that help people who don't have enough documentation. So that's the next move.

Fun fact: The actual people responsible for all the costumes on all those Krofft & H-B shows were the Chiodo Bros. Much later after their long run with Sid & Marty, they helped create a SatAM show based on sea monkeys, those creatures you may remember seeing in comics ads from along ago. (Incidentally, that show starred Howie Mandel, coming years after "Bobby's World".)

One of my dear freinds has been a professional pupetteer for around25yrs, she has travelled the world, and also done local community school/circus kind of work. I've always admired her dedication to the niche craft. She completed academic studies when we were younger...one of our universities had/has a puppeteering school.
