hello Bob and folks. Here for a while as I do some paperwork.

Tennessee Ernie Ford was favorite of my father when I was a kid. Don't remember hearing anything besides his couple of pop hits and the TV show. Not sure I would have recognized his voice on that hymn. Interesting.

Evening Bob, Babs, Derek!

This spotlight on P-Funk is especially signficant where I'm at now, as I live just blocks away from the city line of Clinton's hometown of Plainfield! And just to show you how much of a hero George Clinton is in his old hometown, look at what one local artist did to a traffic control box at a corner just north of where I live:

Seems the 1936 Olympics has many significant threads. The working class rowers (this boys boat movie subject), Jesse Owens, Sohn Kee-chung (Korean who competed as part of Japanese entry due to, you know), Iris Cummings (at 103 years old) the last living competitor (swimming) who had a career as an aviator. The 1936 Olympics could easily be a premium TV series, many seasons of stories. Or maybe that has already been done, just I don't know about it.
