Good afternoon everyone, thanks for tuning in! Today's show will be a group therapy session of sorts. I'll be sharing some of my own experiences on this topic during my mic breaks, and for those who are comfortable sharing, I'd love to hear your own stories on this topic in today's comments. Thank you!

Welcome, Ben! Thanks for curating tunes around mental health. Such an important topic that I feel like is mostly ignored (because we're all so fucking busy) or stigmatized (I don't know why...that stigma just seems...unproductive? Weird?). Anyway, glad you're making this happen...thank you!

Oh Lord, talk about stress on mental health! Producing plays with teenagers can be sooo stressful and rewarding at the same time. And yes, Handy had to do a props-buying run at some point...it was wild! But we got it done, the kids were stars, it all came together. Whew! Thanks so much for asking...

Never had formal therapy, but I think I'm going to pursue that for the first time this year (after having a seizure and being diagnosed with Focal Epilepsy last month). Ends up dealing with that has been a lot. But beyond formal therapy, yeah, I love to do lists, like Ken. And exercise is hugely helpful for stress...I'm with you Bryan. I have a kind of crazy journaling practice that's too much to describe here, but yeah. Otherwise, making stuff...making music, writing, collage...god, I love collage. Making stuff helps me feel better.

yes, i wasn't joking. keeping my head full of new music calms me. i also like k8 creativity hack. sometimes not being able to make what i'm supposed to make is the problem, but if i can find a sideway into it--writing about something else, making a playlist on a related topic, etc. -- something will free up a bit.
