How does the handoff from EFD work? Does he get out of the chair and you get into it? Are there two chairs? Are they on wheels? Does Evan roll his chair away and you roll yours into place in front of the board or whatever it is you DJs have?
There are people at publishing companies who used to slow down tape and transcribe the notes, even crazy improv performances. Legally there is standard notation - but c'mon man, that ain't *real* jazz...
The record store I worked at had a running list in the back room where employees could write down any stray band name puns that crossed their minds, which is why to this day I can only think of them as "Death Row Tull."
Hm. Take off the two or three most played out tunes... : en.wikipedia.org...
- seems pretty strong to me... 'My God' is a fave, actually...
Yeah okay they were getting a little heavy-handed @ this point (only 1971 still !)
As someone who has been Without Housing longer in my life than I would have liked - I'd guess a 6' X 3' space to crash in would probly mean rather more to people in that circumstance than the precise arrangement of words to refer to it. On a given night. & they would probly readily offer up some piquant words themselves to express this ...unless times have in fact changed since I was among them...
it really is a shame how commercial radio can destroy music for some people.
even the most overplayed song,"locomotive breath" is a brilliant bit of music and storytelling. fortunately i knew that album thoroughly as one piece of work many years before i ever heard any of it on the radio. in context and without overexposure is the only fair assessment.

"Magnetic Donkey Party" by "Sport Murphy"
Lovely--by chance was listening to this song just yesterday on Buckaroo Holiday too.
Backlash against the backlash against discounting the Tull ? As I would've thot Irwin was a champion of their Musicianship around three weeks ago ? ...Every band perhaps occupies a unique & somewhat transitory 6' X 3' (or - whatever size) space in the shifting conceptions & affections of the Public...
I don't think Mama Tried was here when you left. 27th St. and 3rd Ave. Great spot. Very friendly. Loads of WFMU connections. Tell them K8 from C&K sent you.
you know what i meant! (that's exactly what i meant!
😊)
i found a sublet via a friend of dave mandl, actually. I just got paid, but everything goes to the sublet and to loans i took out from my siblings and a friend. Next paycheck (feb 14), I'll finally be fine from that point forward financially.
"Ti-Blanc" is French, a short form of "p'tit blanc", and should be pronounced accordingly. Though since he was Québécois the first syllable would be more like "tzee" in English.
PP&F - Past, Present and Future
Many consider that his opus album, after the folk, before the pop, not quite prog but great production album. And the history lyrics!
Perhaps in Frampruary there are a few you can play by The Herd, Frampton's pop group, 1965-68. They had 20 UK hits. Then P F formed Humble Pie with Steve Marriott (Small Faces)... so Wikipedia tells me.

There is treatment for that congenital disorder, they expose you to Joni Mitchell audio and video until you learn to like it. An adaptation of the...'Ludovico treatment', it says...
Frampton's okay. as good as Van Morrison's better material and infinitely better than anything kiss ever did; but nowhere near as Brilliant as, say, jethro tull in their prime, or Mozart.
It cannot change Narcissist Personality Disorder - but it WILL make him talk positively about Joni Mitchell most of the time. So I guess that would be an "improvement".
In the Coke-dominated South(eastern U.S.), 'coke' became the generic word for 'soda', or 'pop' or the like. So one can lowercase the word in that case.
"I'll have a coke."
"What'll ya have?"
"A Sprite"...

I've done that too with many artists/bands. Funny how some never click and some you instantly admire.
