Howdy👋 BB —> this is so dang FUN!!!
- attended the original Broadway 🎭 show of Ain’t Misbehaving (1978+)!as a kid. Instantly Was definitely my favorite musical I had seen experienced. The cast was electric fire🔥. Had the soundtrack on cassette (haha). Only experienced one more time via a charming regional production. I may still have my Playbill !
  11:40pm
Erik (VT):

I was lucky enough to have a 7th & 8th grade music class (non elective?, even). I did a class report on Fats Waller. Mostly cribbed from a jazz anthology bio book I borrowed from a jazz-y family.
  11:40pm
Chuck:

the one and only Broadway show I ever saw was Coco with Katherine Hepburn in 1969..:)

Erik (VT):

I tried this new post Colbert “comedy game show”.
- Not for me! After trying 3 times - found it incredibly scripted and insincere (even the laughing).
- so wish the talented comedienne was utilizing more smart talk. I seriously miss the days of dicky Cavett and even nudge Tom Snyder. 😜🤓🙃
  12:20am
Chuck:

That kinda reminded me of Pictures by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow???...:)
  12:29am
Erik (VT):

I believe Mindy K. attended Dartmouth - & debuted that Matt & Ben as a senior project. (I may be way-off on this one). Yet, even though I attend as many of the student productions I am able - i frustratingly missed that one!
Ugh 🙄🤓

I vaguely recall hearing the buzz after the Matt & Ben debut on campus. Folks were floored and saying “that young woman is going places !”
  12:44am
Erik (VT):

Re the post Colbert “comedy game show” - I never enjoyed the original one from mtv ? Or wherever.
I even find the laughing between the comedians forced.

Chuck:

Too often... artists who take a stand against the grain...get shot down...:\
  12:47am
Erik (VT):

With so much smarts behind & supporting the show - I’m stunned that that was the direction they decided to go !? I predict a very brief run.
I much preferred the previous woman that hosted a 30min talk show (on NBC?)
  12:49am
Erik (VT):

Or was it a full hour ?
  12:55am
Chuck:

I think I can remember back in the '60s when all the Republicans were in favor of bringing immigrants over the border in order to bust the unions with illegal scabs???...:)

Erik (VT):

“A Little Late with Liiy Singh” …
  12:59am
Erik (VT):

I must correct my above statement: not to focus on either women (both are fabulous and funny and smart and talented) it’s the format and concept.
  1:04am

Lastly - cause I’m fading out. The Stranger Things: The Unauthorized Musical ensemble is pale in comparison that audio from “Carrie: the Musical” (thanks to the other BB and jazz hands and Ken!)
