Jon Landau Produced 'Back In the USA'. He would of course go on to be Springsteen's Svengali - molding him for Mainstream gigantism. Of course - the object of the Album was to refine what they did - given their Debut was a crazy Live Album ! (What kinda band does that !)

Great education on a true revolutionary. Wish these songs got more celebration and notoriety. Just great straight ahead riffs! "Bad Seed" rips. The guitar tone on "Crack in the Universe" wow. "Skunk (Sonically Speaking)" and "Looking At You" are probably my 2 favorite MC5 tunes. Kickass job of kicking out the jams for Brother Wayne. Rest in Power, friend.
