I remember once I was at this show and the band on stage said in a really cheesy way "We would like to play a love song now. Because we love 'love'" And someone in the audience screamed "LOVE IS FOR NERDS!". Junkshop Glam love maybe a bit different though.

Recently realized I technically was album mates with Don! 1988 SST comp Melting Plot. Home of Celebrity Skin / SOS. I was living w/ GF Kim Pilkington (Love Dolls) & a bit of her answering machine tape was used before Hotel CA. I hear her, her dad, then I must have picked up and I go “ mmm hmm”. Ha - next to nothing but I’ll take it! Never knew until a few weeks ago doing prep.
