Paper Kosmonaut:

@record cover: Nancy and Herman were two people who were volunteers in one of the youth centers in Groningen in the late 1980s. Nancy was a nice girl of 19 summers with very pretty eyes. She reminded me a bit of Sinéad O' Connor, but with blonde hair in a messy bob cut. Herman, a veteran punkrocker, was, I guess, about 10 years older and was totally smitten with her. Nancy liked the attention and went along with Herman's funny antics. He actually lifted her up and put her down ('til me op, zet me neer') all the time. Until someone wrote in one of the toilets: "Why won't anyone play "Nancy and Herman" with me?!" And then the fun was over.

Krys O.:

↳ Song: "To you my love" by "John Hatton & The Devotions"
I recognized the melody! It's a Hollies song. The composer is Ransford which stands for L. Ransford, the nom de plume for Clark, Hicks and Nash.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm
Krys O.:

↳ Song: "To you my love" by "John Hatton & The Devotions"
I should add it's a very early Hollies song from 1964.

Well, Terry Gilliam's daughter took over management and Idle says that she is not competent. Hiring relatives does seem questionable.

Small correction: The Drentse version of the Nethersaxon dialect writes the "oa" diphtongue the other way round. So: "Daor knap ie nie van op". But a kniesoor who takes note.
