I met a guy recently who's live in Kent, Ohio his whole life. He 's known Jerry Casale from childhood and had some good stories. Also, my wife went to Kent years after Jerry and Mark were there, but she got involved with the same poetry magazine where they published their crazy early 70s stuff. We got copies --- They were working out the whole DEVO mythology back then on mimeographed zines.

the drummer from my band in the 70s played with Devo in the late 80s (I think it was then). A grand guy who I really should call on the telephone.
