The Radio Is Broken is a three-hour spelunk through the canyons and fissures of humanity's collective unconscious. It sounds as if a field recording of the Culture Industry were a sonic juggernaut barreling down a rickety track—except that tunnel ahead is just painted onto a sheer cliff wall. With occasional forays into what might pass for "normal" music. Prerequisite journey: Cratedigger's Lung

I dunno if this is a trade secret, but we DJs will have access to every other DJ's CDs. So, I pick "things" as my premiums.
I'm psyched about MANY of the DJ CDs.

- I also got some TuxedoMoon (sax and electro drums).
- what abt a skosh of Durutti Column ?
Rich in Washington:
coelacanth∅:
i just thought the singing sounded belgian french. but then i'm listening via laptop at fairly low level
Rich in Washington:
Erik Via Mints:
- Durutti Column : i believe my favorite realtime (not counting in-hindsight & re-issues) DC album was “Without Mercy” 1984. “Stories Pauline” also worthy (same era, yet delayed released much later).
coelacanth∅:
while it played i was imagining Robert Smith having the whole album done (say, a followup to faith) -listening to a couple of jazz albums and deciding to add horns!
Erik Via Mints:
2x12” EPs “Suite en Sous-Sol” (1982) …!?
