Me too. Not for the same reasons as you but for pregnancy and childbirth situations.
And one of my friends got HIV in the 80s and full blown aids by 1990 and he is still alive and thriving. It's wild. They keep testing him to see what it is that makes him so healthy. I think it might be a greek thing. that was one of the things about him that is noteable. I think he was first generation american. Really tall big boned guy but trim and ate healthy. did tons of drugs before and during so some kind of combo of that maybe. I'm so glad people are surviving difficult health situations now.

Some of my friends that I couldn't find with facebook made me wonder if they got AIDS. They all shared needles before we went out. I didn't like needles so I just did drugs other ways.
either that or they cleaned up and they don't want to reconnect with old friends that remind them of using.

sometimes bands plan mini tours, announce that particular bunch of shows, then they announce new tours. Frightwig did a special PNW solstice tour. LIke 5 spots. then later they announced another short tour. etc. I suspect that could happen with Derv.

Yeah, I didn't expect it. I would of thought his crowd was more like 20 somethings who want to be glam and 50s at the same time. etc. Not mainstream biker types.
but it has been a long time since I saw the videos. maybe they were a different kind of club than I realize. My birth dad was in a few biker clubs and my step dad too. they have different personalities.
