Pledge at least $20 during today's marathon show and you could win one of 4 prizes: Arthur Russell CD, Guerrilla Toss CD, Body/Dilloway/Head LP, Merzbow CD

A $75+ pledge gets you a t-shirt, a bumper sticker, and the Ridgewood Radio Premium (or any other WFMU DJ premium).

Doug Schulkind:

Ridgewood Radio gets my vote for radio show most deserving of a MacArthur "genius" grant. On its surface, the program fills two weekly hours with exquisitely selected, sequenced and presented sounds of meaning and transcendence. More lastingly, it acts as a meticulous preservationist of the essential work of generations of creative soundmakers. The archives of this program constitute an ever-expanding lending library of artifacts. This effort is a treasure itself deserving of support and preservation.
