Charles Mingus said jazz was a word invented to separate musicians from their money. Music for a Free World brings us together, drawing listeners to the healing power of smooth free jazz. Each week, surprise guests bring their own sides to spin and their instruments of choice to spontaneously jam.

Irrelevant fun fact: the datacenter holding the machine the audio streams bounce off to be relayed to all the listeners out there is actually in Manhattan, Noo York City. The radio station in Jersey City streams everything thataway as well, for all the peoples to pick it up from the streaming server.
But yeah, the idea is the same.
Because it absolutely does cost real money to keep that thing humming.

I've heard nothing but good reports about Bricasti stuff, but never had the opportunity to listen through any of their gear myself.
What streaming protocols does the streamer part speak? Is it Roon Ready™?

Jeff Moore:
You probably know I'm a huge fan of Roon for having made my long-accumulated digital music library really usefully accessible... so the hard requirement for a streaming thing for me is solid Roon reliability, with a fun extra being if it's also capable of acting as a HQPlayer NAA in case I get inspired to engage in extreme and excessive tweakiness choosing digital filters.

Also: is the "flat white" something we've inherited from our Antipodean friends? I think it's one of their things.
