Yesterday I got that crazy DeFranco Family record. Well that one gorilla song is crazy. I haven't listened to the whole thing. Also a single from the movie Popeye. I really love Shelley Duvall's songs in that movie. This single has her doing He Needs Me. It's so good. I love it. Sweet like Pat and Penny doing Jellybean.

yeah. the movie is I dunno, mainstream camp? but the characters and soundtrack are enjoyable to me. I watched it when it first came out and one other time a little later. but the soundtrack I've listened to off and on every since. Especially her songs.

That was all I remembered about them too. Becky did a simian special or a long set and they had a song in it. Gorilla. I bought the whole lp for that one song. Weird and pretty.
