I have been working on my next record sale list and it is large lots of 45s by artists. One of them is George Benson and the oldest 45 of his I have is an A&M DJ only (I think) of his "Golden Slumbers/You Never Give me Your Money Medley" from his LP "The Other Side of Abbey Road." Pretty cool to have that 45.

There’s a trial pursuit category in the music edition called “Your mother should know” I tell mom it should be stuff she knows. But since the game came out 40 years ago, it would probably be stuff my Grandma knew. Her memory isn’t what it used to be, yet I bet I could get those questions now!

Cool show, Larry. Nice to hear these covers. I still have a few things I picked as a young Beatles obsessed jazz head years ago. Wes Montgomery and George Benson still get a spin form time to time. Can't go wrong with Sergio Mendes and Brasil '66. Also recently grabbed the "Let it Be: Black America Sings Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison" due to hearing on some WFMU program. (Was it yours?) Includes Ella doing Savoy Truffle.

If you've listened to original Nagras reel like I've for way too many and gone insane, you'll hear that Yoko had so much to say throughout the whole Get Back sessions... Jackson's film was great, but he edited Yoko completely out and created a bit of an overcorrection... She even had a lot to say during the "hidden flower pot microphone" section, but she was cut out of that as well.
