When i was a kid saw Cinderella with Lesley Anne Warren, they used ot have it on every year in the later 60's? Julie Andrews did it 1st, but no video recording exists anymore. Rogers and Hammerstein.

Carrie Fisher was originally cast to portray Miss Scarlet, but withdrew to enter treatment for drug and alcohol addiction; she was replaced with Lesley Ann Warren.Jonathan Lynn's first choice for Wadsworth was Leonard Rossiter, but he died before filming commenced. The second choice was Rowan Atkinson, but it was decided that he was not sufficiently well known at the time, so Tim Curry was cast. The entire cast was paid the same salary and billing, despite their different levels of notability at the time. (according to the Wicked Peedia)

Just saw a Lucas quote - that StarWars was for 12 year olds - & people forget that. Was enuff of a SciFi nerd kid in 1977 - was hyped on it *before* it came out. It was gonna be Lord of the Rings Xs 2001. It was ...*some* of that. A good film. Then ...lines around every block for it. I was One & Done with it.
Trek is like Home. A default comfort food... Formulaic enuff - & in many iterations now... But it was a breakthru - as little kids - it was actually mind-expanding. Now *everyone* speaks of lightyears - what have you...
