Mary Ellen's housekeeper of 30 years wanted to talk about her relatives before she left, and it's actually very interesting, but I can't type unrelated ideas here at the same time lol. -- Anyhow, those Big Lou insurance commercials, that were chopped-and-screwed with Select Quote, took over flooding the commercial-block zone on AM talk radio in NYC in the mid 10s, and when i moved to New Orleans in 2017 I assumed I'd ditched them. Nope, they are on AM talk WWL 870 here in New Orleans to this very day. Kudzu! they are inescapable. And they barely tweak the script, just every so often -- very low production costs haha

Very rarely gets violently moody (such as swatting me for no reason) Truly a low-effort cat!

WWL 870 is one of the original clear channel stations (from Mar 31 1922! Many stations are now reaching their centennials.) It's weak but sometimes receivable in Virginia at night. When I do DFing/reception, it's mostly AM at night. (Hence usually getting the same Coast-to-Coast broadcast, with differing degrees of static.)

	5:05pm Rick A: Hi Irwin and All, I feel the same way about the cat adoption party. I would leave depressed that I could not adopt all of the homeless kitties. Still, I wish them well. We adopted one our cats through Bad Animals last year. She is one of the most frenzied and energetic felines that I have ever known. She has the chaotic energy of WFMU. I think it's about time to feed her and her adopted sister.

My cats wouldn’t go near it. It looked like small(ish)cement mixer. It required a three prong plug socket a huge area, special litter, their litter. Worst of all, it made a horrible grinding noise. Traumatized by the thing, my cats refused to enter the bathroom where it had been until long after it was removed. The sales pitch had boasted "fully refundable.” However, in very fine print it had stated, shipping charges not covered. The thing weighed like 50 lbs. I had to pay someone to remove it. :(

Nope, they are on AM talk WWL 870 here in New Orleans to this very day. Kudzu! they are inescapable. And they barely tweak the script, just every so often -- very low production costs haha

When I do DFing/reception, it's mostly AM at night. (Hence usually getting the same Coast-to-Coast broadcast, with differing degrees of static.)

My cats wouldn’t go near it. It looked like small(ish)cement mixer. It required a three prong plug socket a huge area, special litter, their litter. Worst of all, it made a horrible grinding noise. Traumatized by the thing, my cats refused to enter the bathroom where it had been until long after it was removed. The sales pitch had boasted "fully refundable.” However, in very fine print it had stated, shipping charges not covered. The thing weighed like 50 lbs. I had to pay someone to remove it. :(
