It's a long story, but: there's more than 100 episodes of Dimestore if you "count" them, but if you only look at the numbered episodes, there's only 96. (I have a few series of shows I do for Dimestore that I don't number, as they're sort of "outside" of the normal series.)

Hey, Barno! Yeah, inflatable boy clams were great. Never recorded much, but they were really popular on the Rodney on the ROQ show, and other alternative stations back in the new wave days. This one is their song “two little skeletons” played backwards. Hence the title.

In my experience: you gotta suss out the situation first, before you can tell if something like that will work. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Just be honest and earnest, and if you look prepared and ready to do the job, most people are pretty friendly and understanding. But you never know...

Great advice, Austin. I was thinking of reaching out to his tour manager ahead of his Akron date to set up an interview. It worked with the Dead Milkmen when I was a 20 year old with an unknown zine. Hahaha

My daughter and I wanted to visit the Standing Rock reservation protest in ND, but heard the police had baracaded access on the road. So my daughter and I designed fake press passes in the car, printed them out at Staples and bought lanyards to look official... and got past the barricade! And camped out at Standing Rock.
