Given her long cross-generational arc, it's hard to know who knows or saw or remembers what. When a young friend sang a phrase from "If I Could Turn Back Time" the other day, I mentioned how the Navy reportedly didn't know in advance what Cher would wear for that video while on their ship, and they din' like it when they saw the finished product.
The guy didn't know about it, never saw the vid. And I tried to calculate "That was...when? ...and you were...what? ..and that part of her career was...?"
