re: gentrification...in the book art and illusion by e h gombrich (an ol' chestnut) there is a passage about illustrations in a late medieval book where the same illustration is used to note different towns... i forget what the reason was that gombrich expounded on but it seems withg gentrification we are experiencing those illustrations and maybe a similar medievalism, inthe way gentrification is homogenizing the built environment

tom tom, there's no shame in your Fage game. That is my favorite yogurt brand, hands-down. Sadly, though, I'm not supposed to have much dairy. I've had to back way off yogurt because I will seriously eat a bigass container of Fage plain whole milk in one sitting. Their fruity ones are also really good. Have a big spoonful for me.

No. It's hard to come by in the US. The FDA doesn't like live animals living in food items.
Back in 2010 or so, the Cheese Intel Line told me someone in Queens had smuggled a wheel in from Sardinia. I was pretty close to schlepping from Jersey City, but I had a horrible cold. Probably for the best.
