The Radio Is Broken is a three-hour spelunk through the canyons and fissures of humanity's collective unconscious. It sounds as if a field recording of the Culture Industry were a sonic juggernaut barreling down a rickety track—except that tunnel ahead is just painted onto a sheer cliff wall. With occasional forays into what might pass for "normal" music. Prerequisite journey: Cratedigger's Lung

On the subject of the despairing sickness I was a little surprised, given that Richard Sherman died last week, that some politicians haven't seized on the opportunity to attack "It's A Small World" for being globalist propaganda...not that I'm suggesting you play that song at the wrong speed or anything.

Hi Rich, Wendy, Kat & the rest of the
Radio Wrecking Crew!

Wendy, according to USGS, a 2.5M quake struck Northern New York state near the border with Canada a few days ago, pretty close to your area of VT. Not as big as the one that struck 2 months ago. Someone in your neck of the woods, if not you, must've noticed something.

I remember exactly where I was then, in my room resting in bed. I could feel the bed vibrating for a long time. we live on a major traffic route near a city. So whenever I feel something like that, I normally assume it's an idling truck temporarily parked along the street. It wasn't until I got to my brother's house was it confirmed to me that an earthquake had struck in Virginia. The mailman who covered his area was the one that told me.

Btw, I noticed some strange things that happened around my house after the quake that hit 2 months ago, and the 5 days of rain we got before that happened. First of all, some of the cracks in our driveway, most of which are usually fiilled up with dirt & debris inside, were widened a bit and hollowed out deeply. Same thing along the sidewalk in front of our house, where I could notice the ground had settled in places, leaving some slabs near trees raised a bit more than before because the roots had grown underneath over time to the point that they kept the slabs from sinking.
