Hey Dave and Fay. Carmen Sings Monk was a formative jazz album for me. Carmen was uncommonly wise. She knew the answer, that time's a dancer. She knew you can't pack up the moment and take it with you on the road, so now is the time.

On the money, @fred, though there is a difference, too. Judicial opinions try to persuade, to foreclose alternatives, pontificate, and feign objectivity. Among all that you get phrases like "single function of a trigger," which happens to be the crux of the case. I may very well use that phrase in a poem.

@fred: If I had the wherewithal, I'd head to Europe this coming fall to shadow Seattle speed-punk band Zeke, whom I've recently seen live twice. I *almost* flew to Portland, OR, for a third show, but being a husband and dad I made a stupidly prudent choice not to do it. If you have a chance to hear them--assuming you like loud and fast and excessive sensory overload--check them out.

the basement of a bar and 2000. There are a few, "few" being the keyword. So interesting gigs are hard to find, Paris is just not on the map. The olympics will not help
