my eyes are still okay with the incandescent and halogen headlights; but the leds are rough. they should be regulated but apparently are not. there ARE good ones that don't glare off at various angles -but it's the minority...and most headlights now are led.

yes, and all fearful babies with their giant suvs and monster-size pick-ups should be required to have the headlights at normal car level. i think they used to be, and some actual trucks have headlights mounted at car levels.

true enough in some cases, but around here probably at least 1/8 the vehicles on the road are giant pick-ups, or living rooms on wheels (suvs) and certainly there's a lot of insecurity and fear at play, but not necessarily that stereotype.
...and i know people who are afraid *because* of the other oversized vehicles, so they level the field by also getting one
