When I was 20 years old I encountered Thurston Moore at a DIY event that Kim Gordon was playing in Western Mass - he was in front of me in line at the snack table and I was a star-struck little dork.
When he turned around and saw me gawking at him I blurted out "WE HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY"
He looked way down at me from his great height, said "Great" and loped off.

i think the closet i came to barfing was when we let some indigo garments sit in buckets of water over the weekend.. it must have been in july or august and the heat cooked up some horrible batch of bacteria that made me want to hurl.
