Yesterday at Down Home Records I picked up, among many other records, a copy of Andrew Cyrille's ECM record with Wadada Leo Smith and Frisell. DH was having a 50% discount sale on used digital. The disc was priced at $6; I got it for $3!

I'll repeat my Tony McManus story. Two or three years ago at a Down Home Records parking lot sale I noticed a woman seated at a card table with several dozen CDs on offer. Most of them were folk, Celtic, and the like, and so I asked her if she had an McManus. "No," she replied, "but he performs at my house here in Berkeley a lot," i.e., pre-COVID. My eyes bugged out. And it turns out she did have a CD featuring McManus with one of the guys from Ossian.
