Very tempting to describe this 8-piece unit as some sort of Indonesian MR. BUNGLE. Less frantic in terms of style, they don't have a singer as mad as Mike Patton but they do match the band in terms of virtuosity, eclecticism and heaving rocking.- Prog Archives
Super cool! I was literally wondering about that. I know Indonesia seems to have a thriving punk/hc/metal scene. I was wondering how often OZ and Indonesian bands travel to each others countries.

Pro-wrestler style vocals rule! It’s like Pampero Firpo or Demolition Ax is on vocals
I have not heard of anyone going over there though! Heaps of bands do Europe, less do US (I think entry requirements and rules are more strict) and a handful do Japan. And its usually rock/punk - not hardcore.
I can not tell a lie: I've never been a Rush fan. I will play them at some point! But it's true that I haven't played them yet.

I am not a Rush fan, but that DJ Cummerbund mash-up with Kelis' "Milkshake" is exquisite.

Der Todesking (1990) Jorg Buttgereit's unflinching look at the futility of life and death, this is not a feel good movie, be warned.
80,000.00 Geezers [capacity] filled Croke Park Stadium, Dublin Saturday for the/an AC/DC concert ... more than Taylor Swift in any one of her 3 Dublin nights = sold out Aviva stadium 3 nights

' Peter Edward "Ginger" Baker (19 August 1939 – 6 October 2019) was an English drummer. His work in the 1960s and 1970s earned him the reputation of "rock's first superstar drummer", for a style that melded jazz and African rhythms and pioneered both jazz fusion and world music. '
haven't heard triumvirate yet. there - i said it. triumvirate.

I’m not kidding. Search “Alex Lifeson spit blood”… NWA said “F the Police”, but Rush’s guitar player actually got into a sick fight with some deputies.
wow, interesting....yeh, the headbanging one is probably the saddest sounding of all the "chapters". Head/wall banging has been an autistic stim of mine in times of deep distress. I mostly have it under control, but I would have heaps of empathy/trouble watching that. Nonetheless, I'm intrugued by the whole premise of the film. Thanks for the info.
I'd love to know how these bands with flautists managed to work it out with that time's poor sound reenforcement, whenDavid Cross (violin) was getting lost in the mix with King Crimson.
I'm still stuck in Lafayette LA for most of the last 40 days on a tough schedule, cleaning up after the stuff that Mary Ellen's recently-deceased aunt left behind. Listening to this on archive while working online, early Thursday morning...
Yes seems to have given Bruford a writing credit on one track on each of their albums (except for Time and a Word) up till his departure, to cut him in on some writing income. E.g., on CCTE, it's "And You and I"
