A little annoyed the walk-up music for the NJ delegates was Born in the USA and not my theme song.

I think it's Jersey law that Bruce needs to be played in any political context.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:08pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

↳ Becky @8:06
That whole song seems to me that it's one long introductorion.
  8:09pm
Saltonstall:

Stompin Ton? Hank Snow? Blind Boy Freddy McKenna?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09pm
Becky:

↳ DanFA @8:08
Oh absolutely. Maybe not that one though.
  8:09pm
Audiocarp:

↳ Ken From Hyde Park @8:08
Does that song have any lyrics? Just seems to be endless choruses
  8:11pm
Saltonstall:

Wilf Carter? Lucky Pierre? Anne Murray? Gordon Lightfoot? Tommy Hunter? I’m on the edge of my seat in anticipation of the CanCon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12pm

Tightest band units: Meshuggah, Count Basie Orchestra, Texas Playboys, etc.

I'd like to also see a list of the cease and desist orders from the one other party. They keep playing songs without authorization of the artists.

Thanks Becky!

Stompin Tom Connors- the Woody Guthrie/Johnny Cash of Canada retired from music during the late 70s/early 80s in protest of L.A. -based Burton Cummings winning a Juno Award.

Toronto crust punks Ulcer do a great version of Gary Lee’s The Rodeo Song on their split with Dirty Bird. Thats doubly Canadian.

Every now and then there was this talk of him peeling more from Harris than Trump, I guess just because of his name even though his whole appeal was to science skeptics/anti-vaxxers....
  8:29pm
Audiocarp:

↳ Ken From Hyde Park @8:21
It would be nicer if they had a live house band at these conventions
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:30pm
Count d'Al Dente:

RFK wanting a spot on the Harris cabinet was the worm talking. He would be perfect for the Don but I suspect he's also not wanted there.
  8:30pm
Saltonstall:

Stompin Tom has TWO songs about potatoes.

Back in the day a hippy friend of mine said he was going to pick tobacco in Ontario for a summer job. I played him Tilsonburg by Stompin Tom, and he was like “well f that” so he stayed in Flint and mowed lawns instead.

The funny thing about the Kennedy clan is that they were conservative on many issues, except for teddy. But people ignored it, because they were popular.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43pm
