"Bruce Springsteen wrote and performed that song. You can't take it and use it." But you can. Just don't tread into ASCAP's items 1, 2, or 3.

(I grew up in Boro Park, Brooklyn, not much chance of THAT area becomming him, unless your a Chasidic Jew).
