Oakland's Fake Fruit alternate blurting, aggressive post-punk with surprisingly melodic passages. This mix is topped off with sardonic but poignant lyrics from vocalist Hannah D'Amato about modern life and modern love. Think "Aerosol Burns" meets "Box Elder" and you've got something of an idea.
