	12:44pm Handy Haversack: ↳ Hubig Pie @12:38 Hubig, one of the highlights of our recent trip to New England (well, for me: K8 was less impressed) was a marine radio conversation with the Coast Guard so I could report a possible hazard to navigation on the Bagaduce River in coastal Maine. A floating dock's flotation barrel had come loose. We spotted it from the canoe, and I just happened to have my radio with me. I gave the message once, waited, and then figured they couldn't pick up my handheld and asked any receiving mariners to pass along, but then BAM, there they were, reading me loud and clear! Channel 16 FTW! Also, Radio saw a seal from the canoe.

	2:49pm v-dawg: It is interesting what kind of music you hear in the ethnic food stores/restaurants. The Indian stores usually have (what i assume) is traditional/religious music or pop music. The restaurants have pop songs or bollywood music videos playing.

	12:44pm Handy Haversack: ↳ Hubig Pie @12:38 Hubig, one of the highlights of our recent trip to New England (well, for me: K8 was less impressed) was a marine radio conversation with the Coast Guard so I could report a possible hazard to navigation on the Bagaduce River in coastal Maine. A floating dock's flotation barrel had come loose. We spotted it from the canoe, and I just happened to have my radio with me. I gave the message once, waited, and then figured they couldn't pick up my handheld and asked any receiving mariners to pass along, but then BAM, there they were, reading me loud and clear! Channel 16 FTW! Also, Radio saw a seal from the canoe.

	2:49pm v-dawg: It is interesting what kind of music you hear in the ethnic food stores/restaurants. The Indian stores usually have (what i assume) is traditional/religious music or pop music. The restaurants have pop songs or bollywood music videos playing.
