Favoriting Acid Jazz Hands with Bronwyn Bishop: Playlist from September 13, 2024 Favoriting

Bronwyn Bishop's avatar View Bronwyn Bishop's profile Favoriting

Musical theater from off the beaten path. Obscure and unusual show tunes from within the canon and without, flops, failures, and the newest works from up-and-coming artists—plus tried-and-true hits. Also, occasional appearances from songs that are not show tunes (but only if they go really well with show tunes).

Episode title prompts me to think of Laura Nyro's version of It's Gonna Take a Miracle

I can see a very large model of the Eifel Tower from my window. It's on the top of a building about half a mile from me. At night it lights up and changes color!

Wow! A desk and chair and everything. As for home studio photo, two things come to mind, Uncle Michael and his twitch stream from his home studio every week and the time the Hoof and Mouth was done by folks from home via zoom or whatever. We saw lotsa folks pandemic home setups.

Ahoy Bronwyn and fellow Bronwynites. I have been tempted to post a picture of my *listening* station (complete with monitors and a collection of headphones to rival Jet Slootmaekers')

Nice singing, and I love the image for this one.

↳ Song: "Padre non piangere" by "Donatella Rettore"
Or is this the song with the vocals I like? With these foreign language numbers, it's sometimes hard to match the playlist to the music. It depends on whether the playlist is leading or lagging the audio. :-)

I sang in that hoof and mouth! I stupidly wasted simple joys from pippin sitting on a couch, because I assumed there would be no more live hoof & mouths, ever

Your apt. looks nice and cozy, Bronwyn, and if you can see the sunset, that's a good view! I can see the sunset from about early March to mid-October, but not during the winter. I face kind of Northwest.

↳ Dan S @7:56
To be more accurate, I should have said that I can't see the sunset from about 2.5 months before to 2.5 months after the winter solstice.
