I'm pointing her at stuff.tracks she can rabbit-hole. I said have you ever heard Kyuss? Straight back she said only Demon Cleaner.
Only?
Proud dad then played her Regular John off 1st Queens of the SA, that's a goody.

They listen to some crazy stuff we oldens know nothing about. Yung Lean etc.
Actual Rock though not so much.
But Big on Beatles / George Harrison.
Big big world they have to explore.

Li'l Fab was really impressed that Barno played some of her current faves on his show last night: 100 Gecs, Lemon Demon, Tally Hall. She even got out her phone to take a pic of the playlist.

Expecting some tired old geezers not doing much.
Jaw dropped on the opening bar and stayed there.

Seen the Spuds live several times, and yep, always incredible. My high-school New Wave band played a cover of "Mongoloid"!

Way less pop for want of a better word than Duty Now, more punk, crappier production

Later, Mark M disappeared...only to appear up on a balcony, and proceeded to shimmy down a rope with a cordless mic (first time I'd seen one of those) still singing as the band played "Jocko Homo." Then walked back towards to the stage, sticking the mic out to various fans he passed so they could say "We are Devo." I swear I didn't hallucinate that..?
