When you prattle on about the films you’ve seen, and the theaters you go to, you sound like a wealthy person at a cocktail party talking about their watch collection or the countries they’ve visited, while displaying a complete lack of appreciation for the value of time, or the cultures that inhabit those countries. You come off like a dollar-store Film Snob, using your shallow knowledge of what’s playing, without a real undrstanding of it. You use that access you have to cinemas as a platform to worship yourself.
