As wer rounded a curve into a covered evelvated station, we got a full view of an actual in progress tornado. You could hear everyone collectively holding their breath as we made it into the covered outdoor station and I've almost never seen a car clear out faster and yes that includes the sudden appearance of violent/extremely filthy persons.

My grandkids live in Oregon so my wife and I drive up there frequently, including this past Thanksgiving. Our typical route takes us through a CA Ag Check station in Hallelujah Junction, CA, just past the Nevada border. I’ve taken this route for years and recognize many of the workers, but they usually just wave us through. But on the last trip this young guy asked about my truck license plates, which read WFMU.ORG. So I introduce myself, tell him about the station and who to listen to. On the way back a week later the same guy is working there, and he tells me he loves the station, especially Toddophonic Todd! I’m calling this a Fairytale of Hallelujah Junction!

My grandkids live in Oregon so my wife and I drive up there frequently, including this past Thanksgiving. Our typical route takes us through a CA Ag Check station in Hallelujah Junction, CA, just past the Nevada border. I’ve taken this route for years and recognize many of the workers, but they usually just wave us through. But on the last trip this young guy asked about my truck license plates, which read WFMU.ORG. So I introduce myself, tell him about the station and who to listen to. On the way back a week later the same guy is working there, and he tells me he loves the station, especially Toddophonic Todd! I’m calling this a Fairytale of Hallelujah Junction!
