Nick was probably the most unknown but got his revenge by living the longest. He was too street smart to let the streets kill him. Loved Better Days almost as much as the original PBBB. But, Mike was my main man. Wish he had gotten some help with his mania and insomnia instead of self-medicating with junk. There’s no telling how far that guitar genius would’ve taken music if he had lived long enough.

Most of my favorite players, like Sonny Boy Williamson and Jimmy Reed, played much more sparely without showboating. But Bloomfield was one of a kind with his modality and modulations.

Most of my favorite players, like Sonny Boy Williamson and Jimmy Reed, played much more sparely without showboating. But Bloomfield was one of a kind with his modality and modulations.
