Having spent a lot of time with The Weatherman, I have discovered this song is based on fact. The Weatherman was a cable service repair man, and was often deployed to fix people's problems with "The Playboy Channel," where he would encounter customers upset because they aren't "getting it."

Everything I can find about it online makes it sound like "Stay Tuned" would be something I would love. But over the years that movie has slid off my brain.

It's like, "Midnight Madness," a movie I know I saw countless times as a kid. All I remember now is that the nerd rode a moped and the jock had a van, and they were on the hunt for something. That's all I can remember.
