I saw a bunraku (puppet theater) performance in Japan, the master controls the head and one arm, his apprentice controls the other arm. After maybe ten years the master lets him take on the bigger role.

I saw a bunraku (puppet theater) performance in Japan, the master controls the head and one arm, his apprentice controls the other arm. After maybe ten years the master lets him take on the bigger role.
