Nope - just a question, as the photo and tale seemed bogus to me.
Supported by your creative sharing of various things, in that I expect you take “poetic license” whether it be poetry, visual art if/when you feel like it (if it gets more attention).
I could go on and on, but i’ll wait for your reply/reaction.
I feel like you were misleading people (only reason I can think to have done so is just because you could (and possibly to see how many people believed you if it was a ruse)).
Of course, I may be completely wrong.
It’s about Truth and Science, to me. (And the inexorable interspersed humor that lies therein, successfully or unsuccessfully fooling people).

of course, i could be wrong; but i'd put money on finding "drapes" is a verb (only - regarding draperies) if you look in a legitimate dictionary from 50 years ago. -from before "mybad" made it into websters.

...i grew up using drapes as a noun as well. i think it's been used incorrectly for a long, long time!
...and i'm not opposed to the evolution of the english language; but i am when the sole reason is ignorance, and the laziness that causes ignorance to persist.
i mean, next we have to call "nukular" a word? and "app" (which is ONLY a marketing term invented to save milliseconds of advertizing costs over saying "application")
...or julery...
there's a noun, and a verb. it's simple... but it's been perverted.

UK etymology claims Old French, but the French have moved on to rideaux. So use 'rideaux' to be idiosyncratic. 'After I ate my pate chinois I wipled my fingers on the rideaux.'
