Each fall I'd go to different spots to watch the run. Not only did the salmon have to run the gauntlet of sea lions congregating at creek mouths but then the salmon would have to jump to get up steep streams.

Each fall I'd go to different spots to watch the run. Not only did the salmon have to run the gauntlet of sea lions congregating at creek mouths but then the salmon would have to jump to get up steep streams.
