Yikes! Only the darkest of jokes on Richard Diamond, a show hosted by a SINGING detective.
Shows from 1949 were... different, for sure.

I’m always intrigued and appreciate the amount of work and effort it must take to make it all happen.
As for Dime Store Radio Theater, it’s sometimes hit & miss with me. I absolutely LOVED the armed forces show you did to end 2024, also some of the themed shows.

The most insightful thing in any of these documentaries that I've played on Dimestore Revelations.

However, I loved Russ Manning's run on the comic strip in the 60’s and 70’s.
Before that, Russ adapted 10 of the novels for Gold Key Comics. In 1999, Dark Horse began to reprint them but stopped after the first 7.
I loved how Lord Greystoke looted gold from the lost city of Opar when Queen La wasn’t looking. That set him up for life!

"X-Minus One" ran, initially, as a "test" show, but after so many fans wrote in about the test shows, "X-Minus One" continued.

Letter-writing campaigns were one of the few tools Sci-Fi fans could use to flex their strength in the 50's, and it was a tool that they would use to save Star Trek, and other shows in the years to come.
