All the first British Invasion artists tended to take credit for things - which to be fair - they probly thot were lost to the Originals in terms of those people being extant & able to receive credit much less actual rewards. It was Folk music to them - legendary stuff ...the Stones championed the Originals in some notable ways as their Mission... By the time Zep came around tho - taking the Royalties was even more ingenuous. But Zep also 'borrowed' liberally from even their contemporaries ...this relates to Page & Jones being celebrated Session Men...

By the time Zep came around tho - taking the Royalties was even more ingenuous.
