	6:17am dday: Monday Feb. 24,2025 11:00 AM Frozen: Everything is frozen outside. There’s ice everywhere and in my mind & in my heart. I go out to the front of the house where her art room and our bedroom windows face, to chip away at the ice that’s formed over the last few storms. And as I chip away I look at the art room window & expect to see her working on one of her beautiful art pieces and as I tend to the Spring flowers I planted for her. And I tap on the window and she turns and smiles at me. I say "I love you" and she bats her eyes at me and returns the sentiment. But that doesn’t happen now & my eyes swell with tears because I know that will never happen again. So, I move to the other side, near the bedroom window where during the last year of her life she spent so much time in bed as the chemo & the cancer did it’s deadly things to her. And I’d tap on the window in the fall & she’d see see me & smile as I cut the grass or raked the leaves and I’d say "I love you." And she’d smile but it wasn’t the same smile I knew just months before. This one was a very sad smile as she fought the evil in her body, but I think she knew she was losing the battle. And she’d turn away so as not to let me see her crying and I’d stop what I was doing and I'd go inside and wrap my arms around her as best I could with the kidney bags on her back and I’d hold her and say "don’t cry I’m here baby & I love you." But it was useless words & we’d both break down. The windows now tell no tales of love only tales of loss. And I break down..again.

	6:17am dday: Monday Feb. 24,2025 11:00 AM Frozen: Everything is frozen outside. There’s ice everywhere and in my mind & in my heart. I go out to the front of the house where her art room and our bedroom windows face, to chip away at the ice that’s formed over the last few storms. And as I chip away I look at the art room window & expect to see her working on one of her beautiful art pieces and as I tend to the Spring flowers I planted for her. And I tap on the window and she turns and smiles at me. I say "I love you" and she bats her eyes at me and returns the sentiment. But that doesn’t happen now & my eyes swell with tears because I know that will never happen again. So, I move to the other side, near the bedroom window where during the last year of her life she spent so much time in bed as the chemo & the cancer did it’s deadly things to her. And I’d tap on the window in the fall & she’d see see me & smile as I cut the grass or raked the leaves and I’d say "I love you." And she’d smile but it wasn’t the same smile I knew just months before. This one was a very sad smile as she fought the evil in her body, but I think she knew she was losing the battle. And she’d turn away so as not to let me see her crying and I’d stop what I was doing and I'd go inside and wrap my arms around her as best I could with the kidney bags on her back and I’d hold her and say "don’t cry I’m here baby & I love you." But it was useless words & we’d both break down. The windows now tell no tales of love only tales of loss. And I break down..again.

This April I'll be placing a third single Red Rose on her grave because I remember how bouquets she would put on her Mom's grave would be stolen . I really have no advice to give other than to remember her love, which you obviously do. Time will heal the wound somewhat, but you will always remember.
